Highchairs for Baby

Highchairs are specifically designed to be used by infants during mealtimes. What should you consider when buying a highchair?

When buying a highchair for baby, there are several factors to make the right choice. Here are some important considerations

Safety: Safety should be a top priority. Look for a highchair that meets safety standards and has features such as a stable base, secure harness or restraint system, and sturdy construction. Make sure the highchair you are considering has no recalls or safety issues.

Age and size appropriate: consider your baby's age and size. Some high chairs are designed for infants, while others are intended for older children. Choose a highchair that is appropriate for your child's age and weight.

Easy to use: look for a highchair that is easy to assemble, adjust and clean. Elements such as removable trays, washable seat covers and simple safety straps will make it easy to use. Check out the highchair’s functionality and mechanics to ensure it is easy to use.

Durability and quality: Baby highchairs are subjected to a lot of wear and tear, so choose a high-quality and durable high chair that will stand up to regular use. Choose materials that are easy to care for.

How to use the highchair?

Using a highchair is quite simple. First, place the highchair on a stable surface away from hazards such as stoves and sharp objects. If the highchair is foldable, make sure it is fully unfolded and secured.

Adjust the height: if the highchair has height adjustment, set it to a comfortable height for the child and parents to sit at. Make sure the child has stable legs and sits upright.

Secure the child: Ensure the harness or restraint is in place before placing the child in the highchair. Usually, highchairs have a lap belt and shoulder straps to hold your baby securely.

Install the tray: Attach the tray to the highchair and make sure it is securely fastened. The tray should be a comfortable distance from the child's body and allow easy access to the food.

Place the child in the highchair: Gently lift the child and place him or her in the highchair. Press your child's back against the backrest and secure the lap and shoulder straps.

Adjust the position of the tray: Slide the tray towards your child so that he or she can reach the food comfortably. Do not place the tray too close to your child's body, as this may restrict movement and cause discomfort.
